Additional Forecast Notes for July 28

From Lisa V.

Thurs, July 28, 2011

Today (NWS): A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. South wind between 5 and 8 mph becoming calm.

Today: Drier air moving in to NW Utah may delay OD today, but with similar PW and CAPE values, tstorm cells are still likely to develop. Lighter winds conducive to Monroe launch but if anyone can scout Edna this am it might be better to have an early launch. Triangle/out-and-back possible given light WSW winds.

Fri: Lightest winds may allow for an Edna launch early, similar OD potential and wind direction.

Sat: Drink heavily.
