From NWS 3:59 AM
Synopsis...high pressure aloft will expand westward across the region today. Moisture rotating around this high will creep into southern Utah today...before surging across the area Monday.
Moisture from the south begins to make it's way north into our area by evening. Pressure drops slightly with winds staying light. Enough moisture will be present for afternoon dry thunderstorms.
Over Development & Precip
Chance of precip to the south, with deeper cumulus clouds forming over the high country throughout the afternoon. This will spread quickly to the north throughout the afternoon and produce dry thunderstorms over the area. NWS gives a 10% chance, but it will likely be higher as the day evolves.
